We study nanotechnologies to formulate products with maximum adhesion power, capable of strongly bonding to any surface and material.
Our products and application methods undergo rigorous testing to ensure optimal results on various types of fabrics. This is why we make no compromises and always strive for certified and guaranteed quality.
DRYSOLATETM is an alcohol-based solution applicable to any fabric surface, whether natural or synthetic, such as clothing, suede shoes, seats, sofas, carpets, and interior or exterior furnishings. It is an odorless and colorless treatment that does not alter the quality of the material to which it is applied. It creates an invisible water-repellent barrier on the treated surface while maintaining its breathability.
The water-repellent properties of DRYSOLATETM, combined with the roughness of the treated fibers, cause water droplets to slide off, replicating what is naturally known as the “lotus effect”. Superhydrophobicity is the self-cleaning effect resulting from air cushions trapped within the surface, preventing water from adhering.
The superhydrophobic DRYSOLATETM treatment penetrates the molecular structure of porous substrates, preventing water from entering or settling. Water droplets, due to their high contact angle, become highly mobile and are easily repelled from the surface, while preserving the breathability of the fabric.
A liquid droplet placed on a solid surface forms an angle known as the contact angle (θ); it is defined as the angle formed between the surface and the tangent to the droplet at the point of contact.
The contact angle is a particularly important measure in the study of the wettability properties of materials.
A SURFACE IS CONSIDERED SUPERHYDROPHOBIC WHEN A WATER DROPLET FORMS A CONTACT ANGLE GREATER THAN 150°.
